Since 1953, the brand L.CREDI Munich has represented accessories that exclusively combine tradition and innovation, timeless classic style, and modern spirit. The name L.CREDI Munich stands for the highest standards in design, material, and craftsmanship quality, as well as for committed values and lived visions. A harmonious blend of Italian design, German precision, Munich tradition, and a passion for fashionable living.
L.CREDI was founded in 1953 by Hanns Peugler and initially sold high-quality leather goods, bags, and small leather items from Offenbach. With the entry of his son Claus Peugler, the path from Offenbach to the already vibrant European fashion heart of Italy began in 1973. The brand L.CREDI grew, its name inspired by Lorenzo di Credi, an Italian artist. To this day, influences from art and design remain integral to the creative process in collection development, and part of the collection is still designed in Italy.
With the entry of Claudia Peugler, daughter of Claus Peugler, the company is now shaped by three generations. Our credo, “Quality from master craftsmanship inspired by Italian elegance and Munich charm,” is lived at all levels. In 2021, Florian Straßmeier, who has been with the company for over 19 years, joined company owner Claus Peugler and has since been managing the business.
